Welcome to El Cerrito Basketball Association
We are thrilled to announce the inaugural season of the El Cerrito Basketball Association, finally bringing a community based basketball association to the youth of our little hill.
About Us
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering the love of basketball among the youth of El Cerrito and surrounding areas. Our league is open to boys and girls in grades 2 through 5, offering divisions tailored to each age group’s skill level and developmental needs. We are entirely volunteer run, so get involved and make sure we are able to keep running for a long time!
Our Mission
Our mission is to promote youth development through basketball by providing a fun, safe, and competitive environment where players can learn essential life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
League Divisions
We are currently waitlisting players for two divisions:
- 2nd-3rd Grade Division: Designed for younger players just starting their basketball journey, this division focuses on fundamental skill development, teamwork, and most importantly, having fun on the court. We will be using lowered hoops and smaller balls.
- 4th-5th Grade Division: Geared towards older elementary school students, this division offers a slightly more competitive atmosphere while still emphasizing skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork.

Registrations for the Winter 2024 season will open later in the summer, but we reserve your spot on the waitlist now!
